Playdate 2008

A big thank you to everyone who volunteered their time or donated to our biggest fundraiser of the year, Playdate 2008: An Evening by the Cove, held on May 3. With over 475 attendees and fabulous Live and Silent Auction items, we raised over $575,000!  These funds ensure that the Museum maintains its quality exhibitions focusing on outdoor play and creativity, as well as expanding its community outreach efforts.

*A special thank you to event co-chairs Karyn Flynn, Claire-Marie Laidley, Tracy Barsotti and Christy Arelt Cooper, and to the many Discovery Council volunteers who made the event such a beautiful evening by the cove.

Many thanks to our event sponsors and donors, listed here.

Take a look at some of the photos on our Flickr page.
