Annual Kwanzaa Celebration Habari Gani? (traditional Kwanzaa greeting that means, What is the news?) Join us for this joyous African-American celebration of family and community. Experience the rich traditions of Kwanzaa featuring a celebration of African-American culture through hands-on activities, performances and food. Celebrate Kwanzaa throughout the Museum with art projects inspired by the African continent, a Kwanzaa altar in the Museum’s Entry Pavilion and free performances by the African Queens. Join us for activities all day long:

| Gingerbread Architecture Extravaganza | |

Tami is very close to her family. Her younger brother goes to UC Berkeley. She has great respect for her family and especially her parents, who immigrated to the United Sates from China. What are some of your hobbies? My hobbies are hiking and camping. I also like knitting, reading all kinds of books, fiction, non-fiction and science fiction. I especially love to bake sweet things like pies and cakes.
