We have treats for your eyes, ears and taste buds this November! Grown-ups looking to boogie with their babies have three great interactive performances to attend (including SF Weekly's Best Kids' Band of 2007 this Saturday!). Our annual Gingerbread Architecture Extravaganza opens for registration today for Supporting Members and on November 15 for all. And you will want to click through to see the winners (and all the entries too) for the Say Woof photo contest - almost too cute for words!

P.S. We're open on Monday, November 12 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. for Veteran's Day and closed on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 22.

Bring your camera to meet Clifford in person during Doggie Days:

• Saturday, November 3: 10 a.m. - noon. Plus meet rescued dogs saved by the Milo Foundation at 12:30 p.m. Since their founding over 13 years ago, they've found homes for over 10,000 dogs!
  
• Saturday, November 10: 1 - 3 p.m.
• Saturday, November 17: 10 a.m. - noon. Plus meet Officer Wu and K-9 Sirius at 12:30 p.m. and find out all about their work as one of two Explosive Detection Dog K-9 teams in the San Francisco office of the U.S. Park Police.
• Saturday, December 1: 1 - 3 p.m.
  

Congratulations to our winners! A panel of Museum staff considered over 100 photos from more than three dozen families – all proving that pets are our kids best friends. Our Grand Prize Winner, the Belluomini family, received a Museum Passport Membership and Museum goodie bag. Honorable mention goes to the following families, all of whom received a Family Five Pass: the Blau family, the Berlinsky family, the Chu-Brunnschweiler family, the White family, and the Falk family.

• Frances England with Tim Thurman (November 10): Cool Mom Picks.com calls her music "lyrically and musically appropriate for kids, but with enough of an edge that they could pass for grown-up music, along the lines of Liz Phair or Cat Power."
• Abby and the Pipsqueaks (November 17): Mixing danceable songs with comedy, theatrics and oversized puppets, this high energy band inspires plenty of audience participation.

• I have to say Guadalajara on 24th and Shotwell. I’m transitioning to a mostly vegetarian diet, so I usually get a super duper veggie burrito – don’t be shy about the hot sauce!

What musical instrument would you be?
