Upcoming Hanen Classes

Dayspring is excited to be offering two daytime Hanen classes. We are offering two types of classes: More Than Words is for children who have difficulty with social communication or are on the Autism Spectrum, and It Takes Two To Talk is for children who are struggling with language acquisition and communication. Here’s the tentative schedule:

More Than Words = Wednesdays 9-11:30

It Takes Two To Talk = Thursdays 9-11:30

January Dayspring Community Calendar Activities


Mondays, January 7, 14, 28; 10:30 AM

Stomping With Sara - Longmont 

stomping with Sara 2 2Great for kids who love music and movement. Also a great opportunity to meet other families and help young children begin to understand and follow routines since the structure is similar each week.  Come join us for developmentally appropriate movement, dance, and music activities led by Dayspring's own Sara Ostrom, Occupational Therapist.  This group will help to develop gross motor, language, self esteem, and social skills while having fun! 

No admission fee for children enrolled in Dayspring or siblings.

Location: Airborne Gymnastics, 1816 Boston Ave, Longmont

Please note: if someone other than the child's parents is bringing the child to this activity, parents will need to enroll and sign a liability release online beforehand in order for the child to participate.

Tuesdays, January 8, 15, 22,29; 9:15 AM & 10:15 AM (two sessions)

Airborne Gymnastics


airborneAirborne offers a large open space with a variety of gymnastics-based equipment for motor development. Every child can explore at their own pace. There is a pit full of foam for toddlers to practice jumping into! This gym exposes kids to a variety of gross motor challenges, and the focus is on gross motor skill development such as running, jumping, hopping, somersaulting, and suspended swinging on a bar. No matter your child’s age, there is something for everyone, including you!

Free admission for children enrolled in Dayspring and their siblings!

Location: 1816 Boston Ave., Longmont

Wednesday, January 16; 9:00 AM

WOW Children's Museum

WOW
WOW offers a sandbox, music, art, dress-up clothes, pretend store, dinosaurs, water works, building materials and much more! Dayspring early childhood specialist and
occupational therapist are always there to answer any questions and to lead a closing circle time that includes singing and sometimes a story. Once you are admitted to WOW! you can stay as long as you wish, or leave and return the same day (just remember to get your hand stamped).


No admission fee for children enrolled in Dayspring. $9.00 admission fee for each sibling. Children under one year and adults are free.
