Thomas Griffiths '84, Central New York Center, recently received the 2009 American Culinary Federation, Inc. (ACF) Northeast Region Chef Educator of the Year Award at the 2009 ACF Northeast Regional Conference.  He is the Associate Dean of Global Cuisines at The Culinary Institute of America (CIA), Hyde Park, N.Y. and graduated from the CIA with honors in 1980. Read more . .

Dorothy Morin '92 '96, Graduate Studies, was named the business educator of the year by New Hampshire Business Education Association. She obtained a BS and MA in Business and Policy Studies from Empire State College and currently teaches high school in Nashua, New Hampshire.  Read more . .   

Bart Johnson '04, Northeast Center, was recently appointed by Secretary Janet Napolitano, Department of Homeland Security, as Principal Deputy Under Secretary for Intelligence and Analysis. He also served as a Colonel in the New York State Police. Read more . .
