101 Friends Project: An Invitation to Learn and Support!
If we all felt moved in some way to help a group in need that resonated in our hearts, what would the world be like? For our friend Marc Gold, it would be the neediest people in some of the poorest countries in the world. Some of you have heard us speak of Marc over the years. Marc's latest newsletter is attached to this invitation. Marc began his work in 1989 in the Himalayas when he saw that $1.00 literally saved a woman’s life by buying much-needed antibiotics. Another $30 restored her hearing. This simple gesture not only changed the woman’s life, but changed Marc’s life as well. Whether it is providing medical supplies or food, funding schools, rescuing girls from lifetimes of prostitution, or finding housing for people who live in a garbage dump outside Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Marc is an ambassador of change for many people throughout the world. Funding for 100 Friends Project comes mostly from fund raising parties hosted by people like us, who believe in Marc and his work. Please join with us at our home for an unforgettable evening as Marc shares his stories, photos and a slide show. Please bring your interested friends. Food and drink will be provided.

One power and one power alone can help the human race effect this vast change and enter the glowing light fields of its true destiny --the power of the Divine Mother, the Shakti, contacted directly and called down passionately , incessantly, right into every part of the mind, heart, soul and body. It is this energy that will give humankind the energy, divine grace, divine intensity, and the stamina necessary to undertake so huge, complex and demanding a work as that of realizing and making real on every level the inherent divinity of human life.---Aurobindo
