TIPS AND TRICKS
Autotext Use:
Hope everyone had a fantastic and scary Halloween!
Want shortcuts while typing? Do it with Autotext. You can create shortcut keys like bb for BlackBerry, mj for Maui Jims, fg for Federal Government, etc....
1. Go to your Home Screen
2. Go to Options
3. Go to Autotext
4. Press the Menu Key
5. Select New
6. Under Replace gt; Type in letters you want to use as your shortcut keys. For example bb
7. Under With gt; Type in the word(s) you want your shortcut to populate. For example, BlackBerry.
8. Press ESC and Save
Now when I am typing an email or text message I would just type bb and the space bar and it will insert BlackBerry.
How cool is that? Think of all the uses!

BLACKBERRY
Certifications: RIM finally launched BlackBerry certification exams and Darci of Swirl Solutions is one of the very first BlackBerry CERTIFIED Support Specialists (BCSS) in North America!!!
The BlackBerry STORM: Telus will have the Storm touchscreen by Xmas. Now this is big news if you follow what has happened for many years. Generally the CDMA networks lag behind the GSM ones by 6 to 8 months but this time they get it first. A sign of things to come, I hope. I talked to Rogers and they have no current plans to carry the Storm. Bell also will be carrying.
Rogers now has available the 8220 Pearl Flip and 8320, both with Talkspot (please refer to October newsletter for more information about Talkspot)
