  • Cameron Winery 2016 Giovanni Pinot Blanc – It exudes aromas of quince and apples with a hint of cider.  Its full, rich mouth finishes with an unmistakable flavor of Normandy cider.   Absolutely delicious!!
  • Reustle Prayer Rock & Vineyards 2016 Estate Cuvee Rose’ – From Wine Press NW’s Winery of the year comes this fantastic Rose` which is blended with three red and three white grapes to craft this delicious rosé. It offers aromas of strawberry, clove and orchard blossom, followed by flavors of white peach, Honeycrisp apple and white strawberry.

 

New International Arrival 

  • Cloudy Bay 2016 Sauvignon Blanc (New Zealand) A vibrant mix of Kaffir lime, lemon zest and nectarine aromatics intermingle with bright perfume of orange blossom.  It brims with ripe citrus and stone fruit flavors that are framed by sweet and succulent acidity. 
  • Pascal Jolivet 2016 Sancerre (France) Expressive nose that displays vibrant, clean fruit aromas along with nice minerality, while the palate has elegant stone fruit and citrus notes backed by mouth-watering citrus notes.
  • Renato Ratti 2014 Nebbiolo D’Alba DOC Ochetti (Italy) A gorgeous red with dark berry and red cherry notes.  The mouthfeel is full with a berry/cherry, leather and spice note with a well balanced finish with a touch of cranberry.  Fine, elegant and full. 
  • Renato Ratti 2015 Barbera D’Asti DOCG Battaglione (Italy) Bouquet of ripe fruit with an undercurrent of spice.  It’s full flavor with a long persistence.
  • Joseph Phelps 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon (California) – Highlights blackberry, dried blueberry and violet with notes of graphite and cloves followed by opulent layers of black currant jam, roasted coffee, tobacco, dried fig and vanilla bean.   A full-bodied, deeply concentrated wine with supple tannins and a lengthy finish.  Classic Phelps!

  • Our featured wine of the week:  Patricia Green Cellars 2016 Sauvignon Blanc – The strength of the aromatics resounds in the glass as the wine is deeply fruited with tropical notes, a tinge of straw and minerals at the entry giving way to apples with crisp acidity on the finish. The wine is bright and fresh but retains an enormous amount of texture and richness.  This will pair easily with a very wide range of food ranging from summer salads to denser white fish, sushi rolls to spicier Asian influenced dishes, risottos with summer vegetables to chicken and pork done on the grill (and while grilling).
