Hello, Ed. There's a lot of discussion about the relationship between social media – Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, for example – and search optimization. I gave a presentation on SEO recently, and that spawned a lively discussion, a blog post, and an interesting blog comment conversation about social media posting. The short answer is that posting on social media sites helps your search visibility, but not necessarily your SEO. Check out my post and the comments for details.
