The Buzz Z3 is now launched and being enjoyed by pilots all over the world. It has quickly gained a reputation as an ultra-comfy 1-2 wing with unparalleled ease of use in thermals, and surprisingly good performance. The Z3 is now available in S, MS, ML, L, and XL sizes, with the XS to follow shortly. If you are looking for a 1-2 wing this year, then organize a demo with your local Ozone Dealer just as soon as you can!

There have been some impressive wins already with the R10, including a full sweep of the podium at the French National league comp on April 18th. The first 6 places were all R10s! That is an unprecedented result and we’re very proud of the pilots who accomplished it. Charles Cazaux took first overall, Damien Sevrez was second, and Luc Armant was third.

At the PWC Brazil, Russell Achterberg of South Africa narrowly missed first place and took second overall flying his R10.2. Feedback from pilots around the world is that the R10 is truly at the top of its class in terms of performance, and is also a very comfortable wing for its class.

We know you’re all anxious to see it released, and so are we. At the moment the Test and Design Team is putting the final touches on the last proto and we’re going to certification very soon. The performance results of this wing are very impressive, and the comfort in active air is something that we’re also very excited about. The Delta does contain some highly interesting design elements from the R10, and although it has taken us a lot of time to fully incorporate them, we are exceedingly pleased with the way it is working. The Mantra M3 has now been tested by several independent magazines, and we’re pleased to report that the results have come out as high as 9.8. Although we don’t publish theoretical performance numbers, we do test our wings in real conditions and our experience has shown that the M3 has exceptional performance in active air – in the sort of conditions that you would expect to need every point of its excellent glide ratio. We’ve had a lot of feedback on this wing, and pilots everywhere are overjoyed with its comfort and ease of use, in addition to its speed and glide.

Ozone’s Managing Director, Mike Cavanagh, recently took his M3 249kms on the first day of the Manilla Open competition and then to a first place overall win, ahead of many Open Class wings.

We’ve added a couple of new T shirts to our range. The Ozone Tech T can now be ordered from your local Ozone Dealer. Made from highly breathable synthetic cloth, the Tech T is a great first layer for summer flying, as it wicks moisture away from your skin while you’re at altitude, and keeps you cool when worn alone in the landing field.

The new 4-line T is also available now, and although perhaps our most famous wing is now a 2-liner, this classic kite T will be appreciated by PG pilots as well.
