Classes are very important at The Canvasback.  We've put together a schedule for the winter that has a class to meet the needs of stitchers at every level. 

Advanced reservations and prepayment required. Call the shop (847-446-4244) to reserve your spot.

Students receive 10% discount on purchases made the day of a class.

This class is for anyone who wants a quick and easy introduction to needlepoint. It would also be a great refresher for anyone who hasn’t stitched in a long time. Topics covered are how to thread a needle, start and stop a thread, as well as how to do three easy stitches. The price includes all supplies and instruction.

Please give us at least a week to personalize the canvas with the initial of your choice.

This encore class is back by popular demand!

Join us for three weeks of stitching Genny Morrow’s classic design. Nova is comprised of 396 colorful squares based on classic quilt fabrics. This is a challenging, yet fun, project that you will be proud to complete.

Join us Saturday mornings to socialize with fellow stitchers!

Stop in anytime from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Stay a few minutes, a half hour or the whole two hours. Bring a UFO (unfinished object) to work on, a finished project for show and tell, or just yourself.  No agenda, no reservations, no fee -- just fun!
