Christmas Finishing Deadlines To insure Christmas delivery, stockings, ornaments, pillows and other gifts must be turned in for finishing by October 1. We have an alternate finisher who accepts items after this date, as time permits, but at a higher charge than our regular finisher. The deadline for standard belt finishing is November 1. Belts turned in by November 15 will likely be ready by Christmas, but this is not guaranteed. A certain member of our staff had better buckle down and finish this stocking by October 1, or Santa won't have a place for all those toys he's working on for Lila!!!!

FALL 2009 CLASS SCHEDULE We've just finished selecting classes for Fall 2009, including some exciting new ones! There's a new "Introduction to Needlepoint" for those of you who have never stitched before or just want a gentle encouragement for getting back into needlepoint. Mary Jo has updated the shop's old beginner's class with a more contemporary design and a curriculum to meet the interests of both beginners and those of you who haven't stitched for a while. A wonderful teacher, Mary Jo's new "Needlepoint Course" teaches you best practices for making your stitching enjoyable and effective. For the intermediate stitcher, Tina will offer a class using all Perle cotton to create a lovely tone-on-tone pillow with your initial. We're also offering a class called "Ribbons of Hope" for the intermediate to advanced stitcher. We'll make a donation to breast cancer research for each student who takes the class. We're also hosting a trunk show from Susan Roberts September 26-October 10.
