Rebecca Wood Trunk Show Through February 20, we're hosting a trunk show from Rebecca Wood. Rebecca has sent lots of stockings, ornaments, standups, banners and seasonal designs. Her lovely and fanciful artwork is a perennial favorite with The Canvasback staff and our customers. You'll laugh out loud at her new "Cow of the Month" collection. She also has seasonal banners to display on your mantel or door. There are new stockings, and all her stockings toe to the right or left on your choice of 13 or 18 mesh. New Arrivals Sally attended the January National Needlearts Market in Long Beach and has ordered exciting new designs, fibers, accessories and tools. Here are just a few highlights of what she found. Melissa Shirley has gorgeous new sea animals, florals, fruits, purses, candy canes, candy ribbon ornaments, and Halloween designs. Melissa also has new pieces by Mary Lake Thompson, including some wonderful stockings. Alice Peterson has lots of new Stitch-and-Zip cases, including Kindle Covers. JP has added more wonderful animal designs -- the Panda is particularly cute. There are also dramatic new florals in their line. Lee's Needlearts popular line if leather goods and Asian inspired designs has been purchased by Colonial Needle, and we ordered many of the re-released products. Caron has added 19! new Watercolours. Rainbow Gallery has added more colors to their popular Silk Lame', Neon Rays +, and Petite Frosty Rays. Kreinik has new additions too: Hologram braids in the most popular sizes. These Iridescent threads have flecks of color in them that are truly dazzling in the light - which makes them look 3-dimensional. DMC has a new product called Color Infusions Memory Thread. This wire based thread can be shaped into words, flowers, bows, etc. to enhance your canvas. For more information click here. Headbands were a popular addition to several designers' lines. There are also many new picture frames, belts, ornaments, and leather inserts. We now carry clip on magnifiers with built-in LED lights! New lighting and magnification options from Daylight have also arrived For all you gadget lovers, we found a must-have tool: ThreadZap. It cuts and seals the ends of polyester based threads like Flair, Frosty Rays, chainettes and Kreinik braids so they resist raveling.
