Ah--summer is finally here.  Time to kick back, relax and have fun.  Whether that means a vacation at the beach, the lake, the mountains, or a staycation on a lawn chair in your backyard, we hope you're having a great time.  For many of you, that means a new needlepoint project.  There are lots of great designs in our current trunk show.  We also have a new shipment of pinwheels as well as new ornaments, belts, and small canvases that are easy to carry with you.

We just finished checking in this very special trunk show from Kathy Schenkel.

Her canvases are stitch-painted and easy to work on.  Many come with stitch guides to inspire you.

CLASSES

MONTHLY CLUB
If you can't attend the classes, sign up for our monthly club.  Each month starting in August, you'll receive the painted canvas, detailed stitch guide and threads for one figure.  Each kit is $70 with shipping, $65 without.

An optional kit with threads for the backgrounds for all twelve figures is also available.  $65 with shipping, $60 without.

This finely spun 50/50 wool/acrylic blend is long wearing and doesn't pill.  It comes in a wide array of colors, including bright greens, purples, yellows, and oranges not found in other lines.  There are many shades in each color family.  Even the white family has four shades, one of which is a pure, true white! 

Yes, you have to use multiple strands (3 on 18 mesh, 5 on 13), but this thread doesn't tangle or bunch up.  You barely know you're using more than one strand once you've threaded your needle.

We are proud to announce that our favorite belt finisher has added another leather color for your needlepoint belts, and we're the only shop in the Chicago area to offer it!

Our finishers have told us the deadline this year for Christmas items is September 15!  To make sure you get your ornaments, stockings and other items back in time to put under the tree, be sure to have them in the shop on or before that date.

Can't make September 15 for your stocking?  We have another finisher who accepts them through Thanksgiving.
