It's popsicle weather in Oakland, CA! Summer is here and we've got the windows open in the workshop. My sky scarf is slowly growing as I observe the clouds drift past and we're making lots of curious items for the San Francisco Renegade Craft Fair in July.

Maybe we can all squeeze in a little cloud watching or daydreaming today?

Know anyone who's engaged?

The World's Smallest Post Service recently designed and produced a set of custom "airmail" wedding invitations, complete with a tiny fold-out map and colorful buttons for RSVPs. You can see more photos on our blog or check out our Bulk & Custom page for other examples of creative uses of our tiny letters and packages.

If you have friends or relatives that are looking for a totally unique and fun wedding invitation, please send them our way! We'd love to chat with them and propose a few ideas.

The 7-minute wunderkammer

Lea gave a “pecha kucha” talk at BCJ’s Talk20 event in May. Watch her narrated slide show "wunderkammer: from wonder room to wonder world." Lea shares a handful of ways to infuse objects with possibility and reveal the extraordinariness of the everyday. It's a quick one - 20 slides at just 20 seconds each!

Heirloom seeds for sale!

Lea – aka “The City Seedswoman” – peddled heirloom seeds on Market Street as part of the Cries of San Francisco project earlier this month. Her skirt was made out of vintage and contemporary seed packets! Watch a video of the event or read more about the project.
