Play Reading this Sunday: April 10th at 6PM - Depot Lobby
The Perfect Wife
by Karen Lewis
Due to mature themes and language, this reading is not suitable for children.
What is “the perfect wife”? Is she always caring, comforting, patient and sensible? Is she also, alluring, available, amusing and accomplished? If you loved someone completely, what would you do to be exactly what that someone needed and how far would you go to protect him from seeing the real you?
What is “The Perfect Wife”? It’s the title of the next play-reading at the Depot Theatre written bySaranac Lake author, Karen Lewis and featuring, Peggy Bolster, Ted Cornell, Beth Glover, Martha Swan and Colin Wells in a family drama about love and duty. The reading will be presented on April 10, 2011 and is free to the public (though donations are always cheerfully accepted). A light fare of soup, brad and dessert will be served at 6 pm; the reading will commence at 6:30 pm. There will be a brief discussion with the cast and playwright after the reading.
Join us on Sunday in the Depot Lobby for a reading and refreshments! Donations are welcome at the door - and you can always support the playreadings with an online contribution right now!
