Prior to business school, Napoleon worked as a sell-side Energy Research Analyst for Wachovia Capital Markets and as a Research Associate on the Kenan Institute's Center for Sustainable Enterprise Consulting team. Napoleon joined the HIP team to marry his investment expertise with his passion for sustainability, and improve his acumen for investing based on sustainable considerations. He comes to HIP Investor having  previously served as a Fulbright Scholar in Toronto, Canada where his research focused on the changing relationships between nonprofit agencies serving immigrants to the United States and their government funders. VarunParmarVarun Parmar is focusing his MBA on sustainable enterprise and investments; he is a 2009 candidate at UNC's Kenan-Flagler Business School. Prior to business school he was a social entrepreneur and then a systems consultant with Morgan Stanley's trading division. He spent his summer at Good Capital, a social enterprise venture capital firm in San Francisco where he performed due diligence on the firm's investment pipeline and also developed investment strategies in social capital markets.
