Greetings German, I know we usually just talk about beer, but this is going to be a tough week to break our routine.
The Ritual Tavern is featured in the Special Issue Draft magazine feature Best Beer Bars in America. The feature includes a photograph of our northern deck and states "The beer menu alone offers enough fodder for discussion with your bar mates, but only in between mouthfuls of gourmet fare . . ." How is it that we were able to merit this kind of recognition?
Is it because we have Alesmith Nautical Nut on cask and Stone Cali-Belgique in bottle tonight? Brewers in town work with us to make sure we get the best beers on tap and in bottle. Many of these breweries, although world-renowned, are small businesses with staffs about the size of our own. Nevertheless they are focused on brewing the best and making sure we have it available for you.
Is it because the Lightning Brewery Dinner last night was fabulous? Brewery dinners are a principal force behind new developments on our menu. They are occasions for focusing on new recipes and improving on old ones. Best of all, we figure how roast pork tastes with Lightning Old Tempest Ale.
It could be a lot of other things - We have a great staff to help you enjoy your evenings with us – We have a cozy, relaxing atmosphere – We have great patio seating . . .
But in reality it all boils down to one principal reason. You. The reason we made Draft’s Best Beer Bars in America is you. If you are still reading this, you are most likely a beer and food nut of one sort or another. And you made it possible for us to develop a menu, bottle list and tap line up that was a little bit different than anything else in town, and you kept us going by coming back and supporting us. And every time you brought a new friend in with you, we were able to expand our offerings that much more.
So cheers to you, the Ritual staff is going to firing up the kitchen and getting ready to tap that cask now!
P. S.
