  DIG's Wish List

DIG could not keep doing what we do without your support and contributions.  Your money, time, and in-kind gifts make everything possible.  Lately we've received a lot of inquiries about what you can give aside from money so we've compiled a wish list to give you some ideas.  If you see something that you would like to contribute or help with please contact us at skoch@developmentingardening.org
  • Volunteer DIG Film Project   This is a big one, we are looking for a volunteer to come over to Uganda, film and produce a short documentary about DIG and our work.  Or if you have have talents editing exisisting footage. We will use this as a marketing and educational tool to help us better illustrate what we're all about.
  • Corporate Sponsorships  We are looking for businesses and corporations to sponsor DIG and our projects overseas.  If you think your company might be interested let us know.
  • Printing & Office  Printing and office supplies are a significant expense for DIG.  Printer ink, paper, MAC software, other supplies in general are always a constant need.
  • Publicity Materials  DIG wants to start getting its name and logo out there.  T-shirts, pins, bags, and mailings are all ideas we have for introducing DIG to a wider audience.  Any ideas, suggestions, or pro-bono work would be fabulous.
  • Church and Group Sponsorships Pass the plate on Sunday!  $1,374 was raised by the Unitarian Church of Evanstan.  Thank YOU!
  • Airline tickets  Donate your frequent flier miles, or buddy passes. Donations would be used by DIG staff to help us minimize our travel expenses.
  • Hotel stays  Meeting with funders, attending Board meetings, and participating in conferences, often leaves us in strange cities in need of a bed.  If you have connections at chain hotels or receive free night stays (hotel points) please consider donating them for our business use.

THANK YOU San Diego, Los Angeles, Denver, New York & Cheney-Kansas!

Our Spring events were a huge success!  New York and Cheney were new territory for us and proved to be very supportive.  We had amazing turnouts and raised enough funds to get us started in Uganda!  Thank you to all who participated, hope to see you again next year.
