Mocean Dance Is On The Move!  Mocean Dance is pleased to announce the launch of a brand new Travel Blog, Mocean on the Move! Each season, the company tours to communities all over Atlantic Canada and beyond, bringing their unique style of dance to new audiences. With the new Mocean Blog, you can read about the company's experiences on the road and in theatres across the country. Readers will have the chance to get to know the dancers on a more personal level and stay in touch with them by commenting on their stories.
With upcoming residencies in Saint John and Fredericton, New Brunswick, March 2-7, each Mocean member is sure to have a story to tell.

Mocean Dance Performs at the Fredericton Playhouse
Beginning on March 3rd, Mocean Dance will conduct a week long, creation-based residency in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Throughout the week, the company will be working with the Kingswood Gymnastics Team to create a short piece to be performed as the opening number in The Company's mainstage performance at The Fredericton Playhouse on March 7th.

Mocean in Creation with Susie Burpee  Beginning March 10th, Mocean Dance will be working intensively with Toronto-based choreographer, Susie Burpee, who will be creating a new work on the company. This six-week, intensive creation residency will culminate in the world premiere of the new work in the Kinetic Studio Mainstage Performance from April 17-20, 2008, at Neptune's Studio Theatre.
The evening will also include the premiere of new work by Halifax choreographer Susanne Chui, featuring dancers Jacinte Armstrong, Lisa Phinney and Elise Vanderborght. Don't miss this fantastic event!
