An Evening in Liguria

Ligurians are fiercely proud of their cuisine and the products grudgingly yielded by their steep, rocky hillsides leading down to the sea. Their prized olive oil, pesto Genovese, and a bounty of wonderful fresh fish and vegetables comprise what many consider Italy’s brightest and healthiest regional cooking.

Chef Alex is going to cook in Piemonte!

Later this month our chef Alexander Feldman will travel to Piemonte, to spend time at Da Felicin, one of the finest restaurants in the Langhe. It's located in the lovely town of Monforte d'Alba, 18 km south of Alba.

We visited Da Felicin last April and met chef Nino Rocca. Nino's grandfather Felice founded the restaurant, and when he retired, Nino's father Giorgio took over. Nino has carried on a wonderful tradition, and has generously offered to bring Alex into his kitchen to teach him the finer points of Piemontese cooking.

We can't wait to see what Alex brings back from Piemonte.

La Terrazza (our patio) is now ready for you (weather permitting)


Last week we set up our patio, and the next day we got sixteen inches of snow. No matter, the snow's nearly gone and the tables and chairs are still set. Well, not so fast...as I look outside, I see it's snowing quite furiously. Still, it'll probably be gone by Friday.


We'll have many beautiful days in April for enjoying food and drinks outside, and we look forward to welcoming you to one of Boulder's nicest outdoor dining spots.

Pizza Monday has attracted a loyal following, and we're continuing it throughout April.

Some of our customers think Alex's pizzas are the best they've had outside of Italy. When you combine great pizza with half-price wine, (all the bottles on our list) how can you go wrong?
