Next Monday National Public Health Week gets off to a big start with the celebration of the World Health Organization's 60th anniversary and the release of the latest World Health Report, which will emphasize the health effects of increased pollution and changing weather and seasonal patterns. |

In an effort to push for deep reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, Nobel Laureate and former VP Al Gore launched a three-year, $300 million campaign to mobilize Americans. The "We" campaign incorporates online organizing and television advertisements to highlights the growing awareness of global warming and the need for national policy changes. Toyota is sponsoring the twin cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, MN.
In addition to receiving free leases on 10 hybrid vehicles for three years,
each city will recieve $300,000, most of which will go to regional
