February is Adopt-a-Shelter-Rabbit Month!

Bunderful Humor!

Here's a list for our wiggly-nosed friends to read. They just might be inspired!

1. A cuddle once in a while isn't going to kill me. I won't be held forever, and it's my own fault since I'm so cute.

2. I will not lie down on my side with my eyes half open and imitate a dead rabbit.

3. I will not scare my human by doing acrobatic tricks and then limping.

4. I will stop giving my human bunny fingers and thumps when she pets/holds/brushes/looks at me. Or looks in my general direction.

5. Grass mats should last at least a week. I do not need to put massive holes in mine 3 hours after I get them.

6. I will ask my human to show me what carpet tacks look like, instead of digging up the carpet to find out myself.

7. I will not chew the buttons on the TV remote down to little nubs so that the humans have to use a pencil to push them in.

8. It is not my job to chew the phone cord in half every time my humans buy a new one.

9. I will not stick my head in my food bowl when my human is trying to feed me. This makes it very hard to pour food in the bowl.

10. I will stop shamelessly trying to convince visitors that I am underfed.

11. I will eat my bunny treats instead of stripping the wallpaper.

12. I will go directly to my cage when it's bedtime, and not initiate a game of "keep away from the human."

13. I will no longer confuse "It's time to go in, Zipper", with "It's time to wash my face, sniff the carpet, make sure the birds are in bed, inspect my butt, or check behind the curtains for monsters."

14. Anything a foot and below isn't mine just because I chinned it.

15. Tile floors do not eat bunnies. It is safe to walk on them.

Our Bunderful Bun(z) of the Month!

Hi! We are big fans of the Pointer Sisters and yes...we are family! My name is Zanzibar and the cutie on the other pic is my sister Skye.

I'm a midnight black, soft, perky little girl who loves to play and run in circles (Indy 500 here I come!) I'm looking for a big open space to do really big binkies and indoor, of course, where I'm safe from mean dogs and bitey fleas.
OK, Skye...your turn, hit it!

Who longs for a smallish silky black bunny? Show of hands please!! Wow!!
I have so much personality and love to give AND my sister Zanzibar could be my twin. Even we can't tell ourselves apart!!
I was pretty shy when I came here too. I must not have been petted much either. But that has changed and I l-o-v-e my pets. So now I'm looking for a big wide open home with humans who enjoy life as much as I do.

For us to meet, please fill out the adoption form here.
We'll be waiting to see you!

A special thank you to:

Carmen wants to send out a very special noserub to all you Bunny Angels who were there during her ordeal of being separated from her human at LAX airport by United. Thanks to all you Angels, she has been reunited in Belgium with her mommy a week later!

Celltei was so very kind last month to DONATE one of their wonderful carriers to our organization.
Check out their large range of luxurious carriers, some of them are designed specifically with the rabbit in mind!
My bunny Carmen was so fortunate to try one out on her trip to Europe and she gave it an A+ all the way!
Celltei's generous gift will be up for wins at our still very secret event in May! hush...
