Purpose: This 1-day symposium will focus on an issue of great importance to an aging society--the development of novel therapies for cognitive decline across the lifespan of humans. This meeting will convene prominent basic and clinical scientists who study the cognitive and neurobiological aspects of aging and its consequences for cognition. Speakers will cover three main areas:
