Dinosaur World, Texas, now works with Reliant Energy to harness the power of wind. We are taking an active role in helping the environment by reducing our carbon emission via wind farms in Texas.
With 1.5 billion people in the world still living in darkness, energy conservation has become everyone’s responsibility. Using an electricity plan with wind energy can offset your carbon footprint by 200 pounds each month which can be as much as recycling 3,600 glass jars, 5,520 aluminum cans and 920 pounds of steel.
Our Kentucky location has gone to the birds!
Dinosaur World in Kentucky added a new exhbiit this month - a native animal information center and feeding station. Just as you enter into the Kentucky park, there is an open field as you start the dinosaur walk. This is where you will find our new exhibit.
Our new large, covered, seed feeder has been placed to attract local birds. There are martin houses created by local Amish. In season, there will be hummingbird feeders. There is also an information center noting native birds, reptiles and mammals you may see in the native forest in which the approximate one mile dinosaur walk is set.

Send in wildlife photos to win passes
In celebration of this new exhibit, we are inviting you to email us your favorite photos of the natural wildlife at all three of our locations.
We will pick a photograph each month and give the winner 4 free passes to Dinosaur World. Send your photos with the heading "wildlife" to dinosaurworld@scrtc.com. Make sure to include your phone number and mailing address in the email. Below is a photo of a lizard on the Kentucky dinosaur walk.

Florida location will remain open while expansion continues
It will be a bit messy as you enter Dinosaur World in Florida until expansion is complete this fall. The park will remain open during the entire expansion process. A major part of the expansion area is better parking facilities. However, this means parking will be creative until the process is complete. Please notice signage when you arrive. Parking is available in the field beside the main entrance.
In addition to a new parking area, there will be 12 new acres. A 22,000 square foot building will house a new indoor Prehistoric Museum, giftshop and office space. A new dinosaur playground will be unveiled as well as more picnic areas. And of course new dinosaurs will be moving in to show off the new entrance and gateway to the dinosaur walk.
Can't visit us? We'll bring our dinosaurs to you!
