Upcoming workshop... Mark your Calendars! Would you like to know more about the tracks you see in your yard? If so, then you'll want to check out Linda Spielman's upcoming tracking program. This animal tracking workshop is led by Linda Spielman, a naturalist and tracker with 20 years of environmental education experience. In this workshop you will learn general observation and description skills.
When: Saturday, February 13, 10am-2pm Where: Lime Hollow Visitor Center Cost: free- Donations are appreciated

Adventure Day Camp Don't forget about our Adventure Day Camps!
We welcome students from kindergarten through 8th grade for a day of non-stop fun.
We provide activities from 9AM till 4PM on days during the school year when school is not in session, for example: staff development days and school holidays. Your children will be outside socializing and enjoying nature. We offer different themes throughout the year. Each day is an outdoor adventure filled with fun and learning. Please visit our website to find the day camp that is perfect for your son or daughter!

From My Sit Spot By: Pete Angie The brown detritus of the forest floor was as flat as a piece of cloth, pressed smooth by a cold iron of weeks of steady snow pack that had now vanished into saturated soil, tumultuous creeks and the unseasonably warm, damp air of a January thaw. My almost three year old son Odin and I stretched out our arms and flew along the trail, imitating birds--he was the mama bird, I the baby--until we came to a patch of remaining snow. Look at those deer tracks, I remarked as we paused, and wondered about them, as I frequently do. Such simple curiosity has often led to memorable experiences following in the foot prints of animals.......

Wish List Lime Hollow is starting to collect materials for gardens for the summer camps. We are looking for the following items: * children's garden tools * grow lights * starter trays * small seed starting cups * extra flower or vegetable seeds * pots * tea pots * empty condiment bottles (w/ narrowed tips) * garden decorations
All donations can be dropped off at our Visitor Center.
