Improve your message – Using video on your website
Video.jpgWhen marketing your products and services to customers and potential clients, it is easier for your audience to digest the information through video.

For example, re-Source Partners has a number of videos explaining our services. Our overview video gives a great “30,000 foot” view of the processes here at our facility. The delivery is easier to understand than simple text on a page.

Text on a page can be misunderstood when your clients view your website or static brochure.  Interruptions inevitably happen in our busy lives, and distract from the message of the written word. Internet video can deliver an impactful message in a short investment time from your viewers.

Internet video is far more viable as more people are connected at high bandwidth, and there are easier delivery methods for your video.

Windows 7 Revealed: 24 Screen Shots Of Microsoft's Next Operating System
Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) on Tuesday took the wraps of the preview version of Windows 7, which will be the successor to Vista. Julie Larson Green, Microsoft's vice president for Windows experience, hosted a demo in which she walked attendees through the features of the operating system.

At first glance, Windows 7 maintains the streamlined look of Vista, but appears more muted -- even Windows XP-like. Mostly, Microsoft seems to be focusing more on functionality, possibly in a bid to put some distance between Windows 7 and the criticisms which have dogged Vista.

Monster.com Reports Theft of User Data
Monster.com is advising its users to change their passwords after data including e-mail addresses, names and phone numbers were stolen from its database.

The break-in comes just as the swelling ranks of the unemployed are turning to sites like Monster.com to look for work.

The company disclosed on its Web site that it recently learned its database had been illegally accessed. Monster.com user IDs and passwords were stolen, along with names, e-mail addresses, birth dates, gender, ethnicity, and in some cases, users' states of residence. The information does not include Social Security numbers, which Monster.com said it doesn't collect, or resumes.

Google plans to make PCs history
Google is to launch a service that would enable users to access their personal computer from any internet connection, according to industry reports. But campaigners warn that it would give the online behemoth unprecedented control over individuals' personal data.

The Google Drive, or "GDrive", could kill off the desktop computer, which relies on a powerful hard drive. Instead a user's personal files and operating system could be stored on Google's own servers and accessed via the internet.

The long-rumoured GDrive is expected to be launched this year, according to the technology news website TG Daily, which described it as "the most anticipated Google product so far". It is seen as a paradigm shift away from Microsoft's Windows operating system, which runs inside most of the world's computers, in favour of "cloud computing", where the processing and storage is done thousands of miles away in remote data centres.
