IRAs Now Trump 401(k) assets

aim_thumb.jpgAccording to Cogent’s recently released Rollover Assets in Motion™ 2010 report, wealthy Americans now hold more assets in IRAs than in workplace-based retirement accounts. The report found that while allocations among existing 401(k) plan owners have remained relatively flat, ownership of employer-sponsored retirement plans has decreased by almost one quarter (23%) over the past three years.

anca.jpgHaving worked on projects such as market sizing, benchmarking and competitive assessments on the client side, Anca brings an innovative approach to primary research and competitive intelligence. Prior to joining Cogent, Anca led the Market and Competitive Intelligence efforts for Covidien (previously Tyco Healthcare), managing company-wide primary research projects and providing the leadership team with strategic dashboards. Anca is the 2009 recipient of the Frank Staggers Award for Excellence in Marketing Research, and holds a master's degree in Marketing Research from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA.

Kim Karrat
Associate Project Director

Kim.jpgKim Karrat has worked in B2C and B2B sales and marketing for 4 years since graduating from Virginia Tech. Most of her work has been in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device fields.  In that time, she has developed strong client and project management skills.  Kim’s interest in research came through her continuing education as an Integrated Marketing Communication student at Emerson College.
