3rd Annual Labor Day weekend Street Fair is Coming Fast! Please join the Ronkonkoma Chamber of Commerce at our 3rd annual Labor Day weekend street fair Sunday August 31st. This event has been attended by thousands of people and families from our surrounding towns. We Need Your Help! We would like to install planters in front of businesses who are willing to "Adopt a Planter" We do have our watering device and trailer and are hoping to get volunteers to water for us during the hot summer months. Unfortunately we have not had great success with people willing to commit to a watering schedule. So in addition to our request for volunteers willing to use the trailer and watering device we are asking our community members to commit to caring for the planter in front of their business. We will be installing the planters in the near future. Anyone interested in participating in this project is asked to contact the Chamber of Commerce's Beautification Committee at mbsalmaggi@optonline.net We are always looking for volunteers for planting so if you would like to help with the planting again we can be reached at mbsalmaggi@optonline.net

Run Around the Lake Networking Event & Scholarship Awards!!! Friday, June 27, 2008 Network and Support a Great Cause! Rotary's Annual Run Around the Lake. The run is the next day. Connetquot Chamber Scholarships will be awarded to Michael Thorne and Matthew Ricciardi. Sachem North Chamber Scholarships will be awarded to Jonathan Batista and James Marvullo. Support the Cause?

Heart & Soul Awards Dinner Dance was well attended this year! Steve Levy, our County Executive & Brian Foley, The Town of Brookhaven Supervisor were just a few of the Dignitaries that were present! All who attended had a great time and "Glen Anthony" our comedian MC was a big hit! The 2009 Heart & Soul Dinner Awards will be Honoring local Men & Women who have served in Iraq.
