Hey Missionaries!
I wanted to send this email a day early because I am sensing something in my Spirit and I wanted to get the word out. As we begin day 17 of 21 days of prayer and fasting I feel that we have come to a critical juncture.
During this time of prayer and fasting I have noticed that God is doing a great work in the hearts and minds of the people of The Mission. While many people began the fast hoping to see great breakthroughs, it seems that even more issues of the heart have been exposed.
Before a farmer can plant a crop he has to till the ground and break up the hard soil. God does the same thing in us. During the fist two weeks of the fast, God has been breaking up the hard areas of our hearts. He has been exposing the things that we thought were hidden. You may have gotten discouraged because things from your past have popped up in this fast. Others have been tried and tempted with issues that they have ignored. Some may have even wondered about their relationship with God as the fire came.
I am here to give good news. In prayer today I sensed a great shifting taking place and I want to encourage you not to give up. If you only allow the ground to be broken it still will not produce the fruit you have desired. We must endure to the end of the process.
I strongly feel that if we continue to pray, fast, worship and stay in the Word, separating ourselves from the things of the world during these last few days, we are going to see an abundant spiritual harvest in our lives and in the life of The Mission. Wait on the Lord to speak. Allow His Spirit to touch you. It's the promise of Almighty God. Don't waste this opportunity to realize what God wants to do in your life during this season. Finish this fast strong!
See you in church,

Order out of Chaos
Life is complicated and if we are not careful we will find that our lives are utter chaos. The promise of God is that if we walk with Him we can have a peaceful life.
In this series, we are going to redig some wells and talk about some of the disciplines that the early Christians practiced. Through these spiritual disciplines, we are going to watch God's grace begin to knock out the chaos and bring order to people's lives.
Valentines Day
Plans are taking shape for The Mission service of love on Valentine's Day. Volunteers are still needed so see me to sign up.
Come to Church
Finally, if you have not been to service in a while, this is a great week to come. Why? Because the presence of the Lord will be there. Life is better if you go to church. You can find directions to our meeting, held Fridays at 7:30 p.m. right here. You can also forward this email to everyone you know by clicking here.
