Staying Organized
This is it! We have made it to the final month of our 4 month 'get organized' challenge. How do you feel? I love the feeling of having everything in it's place and a place for everything. It helps me to have clarity in my thoughts, less tension in my body, and have a smile on my face. There are many benefits to being organized and creating a more simplified life. To view a few of these benefits, click here.
What can you do to stay organized? There are many wise and simple ideas that will help you to stay organized and on track. I discovered a list of 27 tips that may inspire you to continue to move forward with your goal of staying organized. This list is from a blog that I find valuable. It is called Zenhabits.net. The list is comprised of Zenhabit reader's personal tips that they sent in. You might want to try a couple in your own life! Visit 27 Great Tips to Keep Your Life Organized.
Another great way to stay organized is to have a clear vision of where you want to go in your career and personal life. We started this challenge off with creating a vision board for the room or area that you wanted organized. It is important to create and keep a strong focus on what you want in your life. If you didn't get around to that first step, it isn't too late! In fact, my business coach, Edward Mills is hosting his annual vision board seminar. Check out Vision Board Seminar 2009 for more information. The seminar will be held on January 3rd in Santa Rosa, CA. I hope to see you there!
January Is Get Organized Month
If you’re like 65 percent of adults polled in a recent survey, your home is at least moderately disorganized. And disarray doesn’t stop with the home for 27 percent who acknowledged that disorder keeps them from being effective at work.
What better way to start off the new year than with an updated and efficient filing systems, organized garage, or life management center for your home? NAPO has declared January the Get Organized month, making it the ideal time to start creating streamline systems and maximizing the space of your home or office!
Look for Get Organized Month events in your community including reuse-and-recycle events, volunteer organizing events, vendor showcases and expos, shred-a-thons, seminars, panels, presentations, workshops, school outreach, and contests. Programming will take place in local libraries, bookstores, and community centers.
