John Alan Winery ♦ Winemaker Dinner
June 6, 2008 - 6pm
We are pleased to announce this very special dinner introducing the new releases of 2005 vintage wines from John Alan Winery. If you are not familiar with John Alan, they are a family run Paso Robles winery that produces fantastic small production hand crafted wines.
Winemaker Aaron Ryan Warren has selected five exquisite wines that will be paired with a five-course gourmet meal.
Every guest will also receive a signed wine bottle. Reservations are required for this limited seating event. $150 pp all inclusive (includes tax & gratuity).

Bernat 2005 Chardonnay, Santa Ynez Valley $24.00/Retail
2005 Aromas of Chai spice, honey and vanilla. Medium body with flavors of honey, spice and a hint of honeysuckle. Pleasant finish with balanced acidity. Last Chardonnay vintage! 50 cases produced.
Bernat 2004 Syrah, Santa Ynez Valley $35/Retail
Deep-purple medium body syrah with aromas of dried roses, anise, black berries, black currant and a hint of cedar. Palate has nice firm tannins, balanced acidity, with flavors of chocolate, black raspberry and cedar coming through. 22 months in new & neutral oak barrels. 100 cases produced. |
