Masterworks Series at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall

Chamber Orchestra of New York announces its 2013/2014 Season, and the debut of its Masterworks Series at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall - the orchestra's new home for this, our sixth season of performances.

Community Outreach and Education concerts outside Carnegie Hall will feature performances at leading universities, museums and churches in the New York metropolitan area, including First Church of Fairfield, Connecticut and Manhattan's Church of St. Jean Baptiste.

Fall - "From Austrian, American Voices"
Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 7:30pm

Wolf's Italian Serenade, Barber's Adagio for strings, the World Premiere of American composer Ezra Donner's Mountain Suite, and Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 12. Features Winners of The Respighi Prize competition.

Winter - "The Italian Baroque: Scarlatti U.S. Premiere"
Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 7:30pm

Corelli's Concerto Grosso No. 9, Scarlatti's Harpsichord Concerto No. 3 (U.S. Premiere), Vivaldi's Lute Concerto in D and Summer from The Four Seasons. Respighi's Suite in G Major for organ and strings will be performed at Church Concerts, in lieu of Vivaldi's Lute Concerto.

Spring - "To English Masters: Vaughan Williams Rediscovered, Walton Rarities"
