Seattle's all-volunteer annual park clean-up is back this year with volunteers removing invasive plant species, cleaning waterways and beaches, and rebuilding trails.

Calling all volunteers: 200 needed to help us care for Seattle’s Golden Gardens park. Come out and have fun and make a difference in your community! We'll tackle some of the bigger projects that need to be taken care of in Golden Gardens.

When: May 16, 2009. Park clean-up will start at 10:00 a.m. and end at 1:00 p.m. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m.
Where: Golden Gardens Park.

Meet EarthShare member group EarthCorps and find out how you can
volunteer year-round in fun activities with a big impact on our parks,
forests, streams and trails. Their work crews will be leading us in all
the activities planned for the day.
