1. Indigenous Works Connexions Forum - New at Inclusion Works '16

Join Pat Baxter and Craig Hall from Indigenous Works, in a facilitated session designed to explore and build new relationships and partnerships. Representatives from Indigenous economic development corporations, ASET practitioners, educators and mainstream businesses will join table discussions which explore innovative strategies for improved Indigenous employment, business development or other community investment opportunities.  The theme of this forum is "collaboration".  Talk about your community, business or employment development ideas in the context of what you need to achieve your goals.  Attend this session in order to identify or leverage expertise, knowledge or resources from other businesses or organizations which could help you acelerate or achieve the business, employment or social outcomes you seek.

2. Green Energy: Indigenous Community Readiness, Capacity and Leadership

Facilitated by Chris Henderson, President, Lumos Energy and a team of 20/20 Catalyst Graduates, learn how job creation and economic development through clean energy in Canada has become one of the fastest growing labour market and economic opportunities in hydro, wind, biomass and solar projects. A group of 18 Indigenous leaders known as “Catalysts” recently completed the inaugural 20/20 Indigenous Clean Energy Leadership Training Program in September 2016. You will hear and learn about the breadth and depth of indigenous clean energy goals and social benefits for Indigenous communities and regional economies.
