The Critical Thinking Consortium offers an exciting array of online learning opportunities to support teachers in making meaningful educational change.

Spotlights imageAs part of our spectrum of online offerings, TC2 is pleased to announce that registration is now open for our 2011 – 2012 Spotlight sessions.  We have expanded our offerings of online professional learning sessions to provide greater opportunity for access, increased ongoing support for professional learning programs, and a wider range of topics.

What are Spotlight sessions designed to accomplish?

The Spotlight sessions will:
  • assist teachers in developing a deeper understanding of critical thinking and its application in their classrooms
  • offer practical ideas and examples
  • provide opportunities for teachers to participate in dialogue dealing with contexts and strategies for critical thinking

What are Spotlight sessions?
  • one-hour online interactive sessions using Blackboard Collaborate (Elluminate)
  • over 25 different topics, each offered twice between September and December
  • sessions organized around themes in a convenient colour-coded calendar NEW
  • introductory and advanced levels for selected topics NEW
  • recorded and archived sessions available NEW
