Self Employment Assistance (SEA) Program

The SEA Program is a unique opportunity for dislocated workers to enter into self-employment through entrepreneurial training and counseling, and at the same time receive unemployment compensation benefits. logo_final.gif

SEA Helps to Stimulate Local Economic Growth

SEA funding has been made available to residents in Chester County for 2009.  Under this initiative, the Kutztown University Small Business Development Center will operate classes at the Chester County Economic Development Council for County residents looking to start up new businesses.

Girls Exploring Tomorrow's Technology (GETT)

March 28, 2009 will mark the 9th year for the GETT event at the Downingtown Education Center. 

GETT of Chester County is a free, fun, informational event for Chester County middle and high school girls in grades 6-12 and their parents, which feature successful women in the field of technology.  Attendees learn the facts about how technology careers can be fulfilling and rewarding.
