Your one-stop service provider for local job development resources is PACareerLink®-Chester County. They recently released a new job openings report. 
The one-stop PACareerLink® system integrates partnerships with state, county and local education agencies, training providers, community-based organizations and private contractors.
Along with the online Commonwealth Workforce Development System, the PACareerLink®-Chester County office delivers a full array of services to:

Those seeking job training;

Employers;

Youth;

Unemployment Insurance claimants;

U.S. Veterans;

Migrant and seasonal farm workers, and;

The general public
The goal of the local PACareerLink® is to integrate services into a seamless delivery system in order to better meet the needs of both employers and job seekers.

| Celebration of Summer Youth Employment Program Accomplishments |

An event was hosted last Wednesday, August 12, 2009 to recognize approximately 130 youth who are participating in the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP). Awards were given to recognize exemplary performance of youth participants.
County Commissioner Kathi Cozzone (pictured below) provided positive feedback about the value of youth participation in the SYEP career-preparation experience.
