Youth and Adult Subsidized Employment Program

The Chester County Workforce Investment Board (WIB) is administering the PA Way-to-Work Summer Employment Program locally in Chester County.  

PA Way-to-Work is a statewide initiative that will provide 100 WIB_for_web.gifpercent gross wage subsidies to eligible workers while engaged in meaningful jobs.

Key objectives of the Way-to-Work program include:

  • Engage unemployed or underemployed participants in work experience that keeps them connected to work and maintains or builds workplace skills;
  • Increase household income by supplementing Unemployment Compensation or part time wages, and;
  • Build and maintain valuable connections to employers for potential future unsubsidized employment.

Interested participants should contact a Project Operator agency to learn more!
