The Chester County Workforce Investment Board (WIB) is administering the PA Way-to-Work Summer Employment Program locally in Chester County.
PA Way-to-Work is a statewide initiative that will provide 100  percent gross wage subsidies to eligible workers while engaged in meaningful jobs.
Key objectives of the Way-to-Work program include:

Engage unemployed or underemployed participants in work experience that keeps them connected to work and maintains or builds workplace skills;

Increase household income by supplementing Unemployment Compensation or part time wages, and;

Build and maintain valuable connections to employers for potential future unsubsidized employment.
