Fair Housing Act Workshops

Specifically Intended for Chester County Municipal Officials

The Chester County Department of Community Development (DCD) and the Chester County Planning Commission have joined efforts to organize several Fair Housing Act Workshops.

The Fair Housing Council of Suburban Philadelphia (FHCSP) will facilitate a series of educational opportunities directed at Chester County Municipal Officials in order to foster compliance of the Fair Housing Act and to support the County's housing initiatives.

4 Regional Workshops Are Scheduled
March 24, 2009 - Parkesburg, PA March 26, 2009 - West Chester, PA March 30, 2009 - Oxford, PA April 1, 2009 - Phoenixville, PA

FHCSP will support Landscapes2 by providing Municipal Officials in Chester County with information on how Fair Housing applies to:

Zoning and land use decisions
Group homes
Reasonable accomodation requirements
Occupancy standards
