Summer Initiative Promoting Community Resources

A successful kickoff event was held on Thursday, July 15, 2010 to highlight a series of 9 community workshops being presented in Chester County this summer.

The FREE community education sessions are designed to provide helpful resources for those dealing with financial difficulties.

Help Yourself, Help Your Neighbor...Get Informed!

The first community workshop in this summer's financial education series, "Budgeting and Money Management", will feature tips on financial stability, credit counseling and how to effectively deal with other areas of financial stress.

When? Saturday, July 24, 2010 from 10 am - 11 am

Where? Greater Deliverance Church - 800 South 1st Avenue in South Coatesville, PA

Featured organizations will include: Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Delaware Valley, The Pledging Tree Foundation and Open Hearth, Inc.

The Department of Community Development thanks Apostle Bobby Duncan of Greater Deliverance Church and the Minister's Alliance of Coatesville and Vicinity for hosting the Budgeting and Money Management workshop session.
