The Chester County Department of Community Development (DCD) is pleased to announce that we have a brand new logo!
Our new logo has the style and colors that reflect DCD's mission to preserve and enhance our communities. The revitalized logo symbolizes the connection between County government, community members, and a shared value for development.
Since the merging of the Office of Housing and Community Development and the Office of Employment and Training almost 10 years ago, the Chester County DCD operates two categories of Community Development:
1. Community services, housing construction and public works, and;
2. Workforce training, career services and economic development
Our revitalized logo simply reflects the rejuvenation taking place within DCD and a renewed sense of purpose to help people live better.
There is a strategic transformation underway at DCD and the County of Chester. The new logo shows DCD's commitment to support Community, Housing and Workforce Development in the most efficient manner possible.
