Part-time and Volunteer Staff Needed

Life Transforming Ministries is actively seeking motivated people who are interested in helping out with their annual Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program known as Share the Blessing.  

 

Through this collaborative partnership with the IRS, volunteers are equipped to prepare basic federal and state tax returns for low and moderate income families throughout Chester County.

Last year more than 30 volunteers served 300 plus households and returned over $400,000 to taxpayers.

 

Positions are available in Coatesville, West Chester, Phoenixville, Kennett Square and Exton.  Training is provided and the requested time commitment through the end of the tax season (April 15, 2010) is as little as 10 hours. 

The following positions are needed.

  • Site Coordinator
  • Volunteer Tax Preparer
  • Volunteer Quality Reviewer
  • Volunteer Greeter/Screener
  • Volunteer Recruitment/Publicity Specialist
  • Volunteer Training Specialist
  • Volunteer IT Specialist
  • Volunteer Interpreter

You don't have to be a CPA, Tax Attorney or financial whiz to make a difference!
