Chester County Helps Local Food Cupboard Secure Permanent Location

On March 2, 2009, Kennett Area Community Service (KACS), also known as the Kennett Food Cupboard, opened the doors to its new facility.

The Chester County Department of Community Development provided $330,544 in Community Development Block Grant funds, which were used to acquire the building that will serve as KACS' food cupboard and office facility for emergency services.

The new KACS building is located at 136 West Cedar Street in Kennett Square, PA.
