Census 2010 is Coming Soon! 

The Chester County Department of Community Developmentfinallogoonlyforwebsite.jpg (DCD) is helping to spread the word that 2010 Census questionnaires (only 10 short questions) will be arriving in all Chester County homes mid-March.

Census data is important for:

  • Determining representation in Congress;
  • Distribution of federal funds to local communities;
  • Planning for public facilities and services;
  • Helping businesses locate offices and stores, creating local jobs

Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Prevention Services

The Chester County Department of Drug and Alcohol Services is currently seeking proposals for prevention services.  Find out more about the 3 prevention activities being solicited for funding under the "What's New" section of their web page.

Eligibility is limited to organizations or entities that have demonstrated experience in providing alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention services. 

A Letter of Intent specifying what RFP(s) the organization intends to respond to must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2010.  Proposals received without having submitted a Letter of Intent will not be eligible for scoring.
