A new youth development program partner, Educational Mentoring through the Arts and Humanities (EMTAH), will be sharing space at the House of Original Dreams (the HOOD) youth one-stop center in West Chester.
Some goals of EMTAH's program are to:

Engage and sustain student interest;

Enhance academic achievement;
-
Provide intercultural education;
-
Teach students to focus, concentrate and listen;
-
Empower students to become critical thinkers.
We encourage youth, adults, parents, educators and others to come out for a musical presentation, and to learn more about the program and how to become involved in it.

EMTAH blends instruction in the visual and performing arts with educational and human services, addressing the underlying emotional, social and family issues of their students.

| Way to Work Strategy Session |

The Philadelphia Unemployment Project is holding a planning meeting on how to Save the Way-to-Work subsidized employment program.
Employers participating with this program are encouraged to attend or join the conference call to support efforts of having it continued.
Secretary of the PA Department of Labor and Industry, Sandi Vito, will be in attendance for the meeting.
