The current high unemployment situation causes many organizations, like ours, to rethink how we can best serve both companies and displaced workers and redouble our efforts to leverage and enhance existing resources. The demographic of those currently unemployed differs greatly from what we’ve ever seen before, while employers cautiously navigate their decisions to grow their workforce.
A growing number of local businesses have joined a region-wide task force led by the Chester County Workforce Investment Board and the Chester County Economic Development Council to work with industry, government agencies, and nonprofits to respond to the ever-growing needs of both employers and job seekers. As part of the “Hire One” Task Force, we’d like to ask for your help in determining the hiring outlook for the next twelve months through this short survey.
The information gathered in the survey will be used in aggregate form to help us formulate a response plan. However, if you indicate any particular needs or areas of further interest, a representative of PACareerLink®-Chester County or the Task Force will follow up with you to learn more about your needs and provide appropriate referrals to the resources available.
Hearing from you is important as it will help us to provide evidence of services needed to help employers who are considering hiring for the economic recovery.
We would appreciate your input on this survey and ask if you could please reply by Friday, September 3rd, so we can rapidly move forward with our response plan.
