Westminster Place at Parkesburg is a community for individuals age 55 and older with 51 one-bedroom and 21 two-bedroom apartments.
Westminster Place is owned by Presbyterian Senior Living and was developed by Housing Development Corporation. Joining the owner and developer groups at the ribbon-cutting ceremony were Pennsylvania Senator Dominic Pileggi, the Mayor of Parkesburg, representatives from the Pennsylvania Housing & Finance Agency and representatives from Enterprise Community Investment Corporation, pictured below.
Westminster Place is a prime example of modern affordable housing. The exterior of the building is a vibrant sight in downtown Parkesburg. The building is also equipped with a modern tele-entry system.
Inside, the 750 – 950 square foot units boast spacious living rooms and walk-in closets. The development also contains a fitness room, on-site laundry facilities, and 24-hour maintenance service.
This building is designated as a “green” building due to its focus on using environmentally sound construction materials that have a minimal impact on the environment, such as sustainable and recycled building components and energy efficient appliances.
