Cancer Navigator supports over 45,000 cancer patients and their families. Our free, bilingual HelpLine (866) 324-2628 and Website Portal www.cancernavigator.org are lifelines in providing the access to care, coverage and services they need.

“I can’t believe I’m going to be allowed to die.” Julie, 42, a retired volunteer fire fighter and full-time student, had felt unwell for several months. However, lack of insurance prevented her from seeking care beyond her college’s Student Health Services.
After Julie collapsed in the emergency room parking lot, she was diagnosed with Lymphoma, and hospitalized for two weeks with abdominal bleeding and a tumor the size of a grapefruit. She could not be treated without obtaining insurance first.
Cancer Navigator helped Julie access the care she needed by filing applications for financial assistance and transportation to her medical appointments. Cancer Navigator also helped Julie qualify for County Medical Services and Medi-Cal health coverage, ensuring she could move forward with treatment.
