Colorado Springs 19th Annual PrideFest & Parade is just around the corner, and this year promises to be our most exciting yet! We have an eclectic line-up, featuring everything from folk music to hip-hop dance, and we’re excited to host several special guests, including Arlan Hamilton, author of Your Daily Lesbian Moment, and Tree, who was a participant in the 1969 Stonewall Riots, which sparked our modern day movement! This year, we’re also excited to pay homage both to the brave drag queens and kings who first took a stand that June night in the Stonewall Inn some 40 years ago, and the amazing activists right here in Colorado Springs who kicked off Colorado Springs PrideFest in 1991! Their actions made it loud and clear: There is only one right time for equality, and that time is right now! Join us at Colorado Springs PrideFest as we celebrate our advancements with friends, family and community, and continue to make a bold statement in the name of freedom and equality!
